Ok, so not much went down here today. The kids had a two hour delay. Yes, we got like maybe 7 inches of snow. (Not Enthused voice) wow. Caet was a bit confused. This was her first "delay." She was the first to get up. She woke me up and told me she wasn't hungry, but she wanted to know if they were going to ride the bus. I am still trying to figure out the connection between the two of those thoughts.
Sooooooo...she ate, she got dressed, she played with Conor. Then she stood at the sliding glass door with me to watch the birds. She said, "Mom look. The snow is so pretty. It's sterile white."
I am dumbfounded. How does one answer a five year old when they say stuff like this.
